freebeat turns a Spotify, Suno, Udio, or YouTube link into a beat-synced music video, with dance, singing, and storyboard modes, a lip-sync tool, and apps for iOS and Android. Musicians look elsewhere when they want 1080p without moving up to freebeat's Ultimate or Creator plan (Basic and Pro stop at 720p), longer free videos than 30 seconds, or a video built around the singer rather than dance. This guide compares the 5 best freebeat alternatives in 2026 (Solmi, VidMuse, Sondo, Plazmapunk, and Neural Frames) with a head-to-head freebeat vs Solmi breakdown.
For vocal-led songs, Solmi. Both storyboard the song and lip-sync a character; Solmi builds the video around a performer cast from your photos, detects the lyrics in 14 languages, and renders 1080p on every paid plan. freebeat is the better pick for dance videos.
freebeat itself has a free plan: 500 credits at signup, no card, for videos up to 30 seconds at 720p with a watermark. Solmi is free to start with no card: new accounts get a one-time 100 music-video credits, enough for one 20-second 480p preview of your song with a watermark. Plazmapunk's free plan gives 200 credits for 4:3 videos with a watermark, and VidMuse gives 100 one-time credits at 720p with a watermark.
freebeat is cheaper at entry level: Basic is $4.99/week and Pro is $26.99/month, both at up to 720p. Solmi's Plus plan is $35/month for 2,000 credits (roughly 3–7 one-minute music videos), with Creator ($85) and Pro ($135) above it and 1080p on every paid plan. Solmi's advantage is the vocal performance: lyric detection in 14 languages and a lip-synced performer cast from your photos.
Yes. freebeat has a singing mode and a separate lip-sync tool. Solmi detects the lyrics from your audio in 14 languages and lip-syncs a performer cast from your photos across the storyboarded video.
Solmi, if you want the video built around the singer. Upload the MP3, WAV, or video you downloaded from Suno, and it auto-detects the lyrics and renders a finished video in 16:9 or 9:16. freebeat takes Suno links, along with Spotify, Udio, and YouTube links.
