The adjustments are free: they happen in your browser, and Download saves the adjusted image as a PNG without spending credits. An AI edit comes from Generate, which costs 9 credits on Standard or 41 on Best. A new web account starts with 20 credits, enough for two Standard edits. On the free plan the balance tops back up to 10 credits each day you sign in, enough for one more. The price shows on the Generate button, and credits are refunded if a generation fails.
The manual step is five sliders plus rotate and flip: there is no crop tool, no layers, and no text tool. The AI edit needs a written direction, and its result comes in the aspect ratio you pick, starting on square. To change one area only, use Inpaint or the Image Eraser. For an AI edit, photos larger than 2048 pixels on the long side are scaled down to that size; the download keeps the photo's own size.
