Frequently Asked Questions

What is an AI sad song generator?

An AI sad song generator is a tool that creates original sad songs from a text prompt — no recording, instruments, or vocal training required. Solmi listens to your prompt, decides on tempo, structure, and sad song-appropriate instrumentation, then renders a complete song with vocals.

Is the sad song generator free?

Yes, with a free account and no credit card. Each song uses 5 credits, and a free account's credits refill to 10 every day, enough for two songs a day. Free songs download as MP3 for personal use; paid plans add more credits and commercial use.

Can I add my own lyrics to a Solmi sad song?

Yes. Paste in your lyrics (any language) and Solmi will sing them in the sad song style. You can also let Solmi auto-write the lyrics from a topic prompt.

Can I make a music video for my AI sad song?

Yes — open Solmi's AI music video generator, drop the Solmi-generated sad song track in, pick a style (lyric video, cinematic, dance), and Solmi renders a finished music video for YouTube, TikTok, and Reels.

Do I own the sad songs I generate?

Songs generated on paid plans are yours to publish, monetize on Spotify / YouTube / TikTok, and use commercially. See Solmi's terms for full licensing details.

Make a music video too

Solmi's AI music video generator turns any song into a finished video for YouTube, TikTok, and Reels. The free plan renders one 20-second 480p preview with a watermark; paid plans render the full song in 720p or 1080p. Try the free AI music video generator, the lyric video generator, the AI singing video generator that makes any photo sing, the AI dance video generator that turns a song into a choreographed dance video, or upload a song you made in Suno via Suno to Video. Solmi's AI music video director storyboards every shot before rendering, the full end-to-end workflow replaces a multi-tool pipeline, and the iOS & Android app does it from your phone.
