Stuck mid-cypher? Solmi's free freestyle lyrics generator writes loose bars on any topic in seconds: one verse of 12 to 16 bars, no hook, with rhyme families that chain from line to line and a punchline every four bars. Type what the freestyle is about, and add a style (battle, boom-bap, drill, melodic, comedy) or a bar count in your own words. Practise the lines, remix them, or turn them into a track with AI vocals in one click. It's free with a Solmi account, and writing the lyrics uses no credits.
A freestyle bar is one line of four beats. Most freestylers land the rhyme on the fourth beat and set it up on the second, which gives the ear a pattern to expect. The trick to sounding fluent is to decide the rhyme word first and fill the line backwards toward it. The generated bars follow that shape, so read the output and notice where the rhyme falls; that is the pocket you practice.
Freestylers rely on families of words that rhyme with common topics, so they never stall: night, tight, right, fight, flight; game, name, fame, flame, same; way, say, day, play, stay. Generated bars use multisyllabic families too, such as reckless and breathless, or dedicated and complicated. Study the families that come back for your topic and memorize the ones you like. Having ten ready families for ten common subjects is what separates a fluent freestyle from a stalled one.
When a freestyle produces a line worth keeping, move it into the rap lyrics generator to build full verses and a hook around it, then turn the lyrics into a song to hear them with vocals over a beat. If you want a video for the result, the AI music video generator storyboards a performance from the lyrics.
It writes rap bars on demand from a topic you give it, the way a freestyle picks up whatever is in the room. You get one loose verse, 12 to 16 bars unless you ask for a different count, with rhyme families that carry from line to line, to rap as written or use as a springboard.
Generate eight bars on a random object, read them out loud over a beat, then try to continue for four more bars without the tool. Repeat with a new object. The generated lines give you rhyme families and pocket patterns to copy until they become instinct.
Yes, with a free Solmi account and no card, and writing the lyrics uses no credits. Turning the bars into a song with vocals uses song credits; free accounts get credits that refill to 10 every day.
Yes. The lyrics are yours to record and publish. If you want the finished track, 'Turn these lyrics into a song' opens Solmi's AI music generator with the bars loaded and a boom-bap style set, and it makes a full song with vocals and a beat.
The rap lyrics generator writes a structured rap for a finished song: two verses and a hook. The freestyle generator is looser: one verse on one topic, no hook, in the spirit of a cypher, for practice and improvisation.
